Comments I am reviewing the predecessor of this tire - Uniroyal Tiger Paw GTZ All Season - 215/45ZR17XL 91W. I have a 2006 Hyundai Tiburon GT Limited Edition 2-door Coupe. The tires I replaced today gave me just short of four years of treadwear (it would have been over four years, but I'm replacing the tires before snow falls - I live in Maine) hence the rating of "10" for treadwear. I have had this car for a bit over 12 years and it has been hard on tires. While I've owned the car, I've been happy when I can get two years (15,000 to 20,000 miles) out of a set of new tires. When considering each rating of "9", keep in mind that I tend to think anything can be improved upon, except I can't emphasize enough how happy I am with the treadwear. As for "Noise Level", others have found it to be an issue. I have not noticed an issue hence my rating of "9". As for the rating of "5" for "Deep Snow Traction" and "Ice Traction", I have no experience under those road conditions.
