SOLUS KH16

Grand Touring All-Season

Overall Rating (7.9)

 • Kumho’s patented design technology optimizes casing shape, tread contact and sidewall stiffness to maintain outstanding ability to absorb bumps even while increasing the response.

 • High technology dual compound structure creates a perfect blend of steering response, ride comfort and increased mileage.

 • The multi-siped, four circumferential groove tread design ensures optimum water evacuation.

 • Kumho’s Cornering Lag Technology reduces time from when the steering wheel is turned, to when the vehicle reacts. “CLT” increases steering response without sacrificing ride comfort.

 • Variable pitch tread blocks reduce road harmonics to make the KH16 one of the quietest tires Kumho sells.

Comments These came with my new 2014 Dodge Journey Crossroad and so far they have had excellent grip, are very quiet, and react well to wet road conditions. Still waiting for the winter to see how they handle in snow & ice.

Comments I got 60k+ miles on 55k tires, so I'm happy with that. These tires are fine when dry and handle light snow well, but I really strained my traction control system in deeper snow, and had to drive cautiously in the rain. I can't remember ever hydroplaning, but wet cornering needed to be done with a light foot. If you're on a budget and are a situationally-aware driver, these tires can serve you well. However, I'm going to spend a few more dollars next time and get something with longer treadwear and more traction.

Comments Overall the tires perform fine in dry or wet condition. Not great in snow. But they didn’t get close to the 60,000 mileage that Kumho claims.
