PILOT SUPER SPORT

Max Performance Summer

Overall Rating (8.5)

Born from endurance racing, the Michelin Pilot Super Sport gives you the exhilaration of driving the best performing street tire in the world.

Features and Benefits
  • The Pilot Super Sport features an asymmetric tread design molded from Michelin's Bi-Compound tread rubber, which features a Le-Mans inspired dry compound outboard side-by-side with the company's latest generation of wet compound inboard.
  • Low-void outboard shoulders feature a track-type compound to withstand the stress of high performance cornering, while the notched center ribs and inboard shoulder feature a compound that is designed for superior performance at very high speeds and in wet conditions.
  • The tire's internal structure features twin steel belts that are reinforced by spirally wound Twaron cord. Twaron is a polyamide cord that offers a lightweight, high strength reinforcement above the steel belts to enhance high speed handling, wear, and durability.
  • Michelin FAZ Technology (Filament At Zero degrees) winds the Twaron cord around the circumference of the tire to allow Michelin engineers to tune tension and strength.

Comments As a returning customer I'm very pleased with the tires that I purchased. I bought these tries for winter traction and they worked out very well.

Comments So far all of the excellent reviews I read on these tires were accurate. To say the difference between these tires and the OEM Goodyear run flats is like night and day is an understatement. These tires are light years away from the Goodyears. I actually enjoy driving the vehicle again!! Excellent handling, strong grip and cornering capabilities along with only moderate noise makes these tires a no brainer. I don't plan on driving in the snow or ice so I can't comment on that, but I highly recommend these tires.

Comments Best summer tire I have ever had. Great as long as temperature is above 40 degrees. Very nice ride and excellent handling. My favorite everyday tire by far. I have owned Dunlop, Toyo, Michelin, Yokohama, and many other tires in my life.
